Project Exhale

Parent Care & Restoration

A childhood cancer diagnosis impacts the entire family.

While parents spend countless hours advocating, caring, and carrying the weight of their child’s journey, their own wellbeing is often overlooked.

Project Exhale is a dedicated parent respite space on the 5th floor oncology unit at Rady Children’s Health (formerly CHOC), created to give caregivers a place to pause, breathe, and restore while their child receives treatment.

This calming space will provide parents with

  • Pelaton Bike & Treadmill

  • Massage Chair

  • Stretching/Yoga Area

  • Weights & Resistance Bands

  • Calm, Restorative Space
