A Life-Giving Opportunity Beyond the Hospital
Childhood cancer can take away so much of what makes a child feel like themselves.
Equine therapy provides an opportunity to step outside the hospital walls and experience confidence, connection, and joy.
Inspired by Brynn’s own experience, our Equine Therapy Scholarship provides children and teens navigating childhood cancer with a 10-week therapeutic riding experience through The Shea Center’s Equine-Assisted Learning Program.
Our Scholarship Provides 10 Weeks of Lessons

Through time with specially trained horses and supportive instructors, children have the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills, and experience moments of freedom and healing beyond their diagnosis.

These scholarships are made possible through the support of our community, The Shea Center, and the Brynn Wheeler Foundation.
